Shai serves as Chairman of Botanocap, Free-lax, and Keebali Media and a board member of Click SW (NASDAQ) and Earnix. Prior to that Shai founded Formula Ventures (originally part of the Formula Group) and was the CEO and Chairman of the Board since its inception. Shai joined the Formula Group in 1995.
Prior to the Formula Group, Shai was CEO of Clal Computers and Technology; From 1987 to 1993 Shai was Vice President at Digital Equipment Corporation Israel; From 1979 to 1986 he was CEO of Yael Software and Services, a company; Shai has served as Director or Chairman of over sixty Israeli high tech companies.
Shai holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel, and a B.Sc., cum laude, in Mathematics, Statistics and Economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.
Shai is the chairman of Enosh friends (a non-profit association that cares for people with mental difficulties), he is a member of the executive committee of IVN, teaches in Givol Democtratic school in Hadera, Membet of the patent committee of Ben Gurion University, and a mentor for MBA students in IDC, Herzliya.
