Ilan Cohn
Ilan, who has a Ph.D. is biology from the Hebrew University, is a patent attorney and senior partner in Reinhold Cohn and Partners, Israel's largest and longest existing intellectual property firm. In his activity as patent attorney Ilan gained expertise in the strategic management of intellectual property assets, and expertise that was internationally recognized by his inclusion, as the only Israeli patent attorney, in the prestigious IAM300 guide that lists the 300 leading IP strategists in the World.
Ilan has also a considerable business experience from involvement in executive positions in several corporations and in investment funds. He is currently the Chairman of a biopharmaceutical company by the name of Can-Fite Biopharma that is traded both in the TASE and in the NYSE.
Ilan is also the co-chairman of the Center for Israeli Education (CIE), a non-profit organization that attempts to catalyze an overhaul of the Israeli education system to bring it back to the leading position that Israeli education held in the past. Ilan is also involved in a variety of other philanthropic activities.
Ilan is engaged in photography for over 10 years. He is married, has 5 children and 3 grandchildren.
